I got tired of watching capable students sit there stuck, being given the wrong advice. Do more homework. Work harder. None of it shifted the grade — because what they actually needed was a method that worked.
So I built one. I am a goal-oriented person — I know how to get a result once I have decided to go after one. Helping my own students hit their academic goals, year after year, it became a system: the SfS Grade Accelerator Method™. Since then we have helped hundreds of students jump 2 to 4 grades.

Success Mindset
To get a grade 8 or 9, a child has to think like a grade 8 or 9 student. Take two students, equally intelligent — one confident, one not. Who does better in the exam hall? Their belief system is working for one and against the other. We build habits that shift the mindset, and shifting the mindset shifts the grades.
Mastery Learning
In school your child covers the curriculum. With us they master it. A gap opened in Year 7 does not close on its own — the curriculum moves on, and everything built on top of it wobbles. Two people swim: one an amateur, one an Olympian — same sport, different training, different result. Most students are training at an amateur level. We transform them into Olympians who get the top grades.
Exam Mastery
Knowing the subject and scoring in the exam are two different skills. Schools focus on the curriculum. We help your child master both.
We see parents on both sides of these exams. The ones whose child has the results walk through the door — the sixth form they wanted, the course they wanted, the university they were dreaming of. The ones who don’t spend the next year running around helter-skelter, and often end up taking their child through resits.
The work is the same amount of work. It is just far easier on this side of the exam than the other side. That is why we tell our young people to start early and not leave it until it is too late.
