Once upon a time, within the walls of academia, a seasoned educator, Davida Ademuyiwa, embarked on a transformative journey. With a heart filled with passion and a mind enriched by over 30 years of experience, she witnessed a reality that sparked a fire within her—a reality where potential was obscured, not by lack of ability, but by a system that often failed to recognise, nurture and unleash it.
The Catalyst: A Student's Struggle
Davida’s story intertwines with a young boy's struggle—a Year 11 student teetering on the precipice of his future, yet grappling with basic literacy skills. How had he reached this pivotal stage in his education, yet lacked the fundamental tools to excel? This wasn't just his story; it was the narrative of many, lost in a system where chaos often drowned out the symphony of learning, where potential was cloaked under layers of missed opportunities.
The Vision: Rising Above Low Expectations
Through her years in various educational settings, Davida saw a pattern—a disheartening trend where certain groups of students were entrapped in a cycle of low expectations. It was a silent epidemic, where the bar was set so low that many never knew the extent of their potential. This wasn't just about grades; it was about a mindset, a vision that extended beyond the classroom.

When Davida Ademuyiwa launched Schools for Success Academy, the promise was bold: students would jump two grades in 12 weeks. But the results went even further — students began jumping four to six grades in just weeks.
Fadwa: from a Grade 5 to a Grade 9 in English in just four weeks
Victor: from a Grade 2 to a Grade 7 in English Language in five weeks

She has taught at every level of education — primary, secondary, college, and university — guiding thousands of students to achieve their academic goals. Beyond schools, her expertise extends into the corporate sector, where she has delivered IT training for companies and created specialist programmes in legal communication for international lawyers.
Her impact also reaches into public leadership. Davida served as Cabinet Member for Training, Development & Apprenticeships with the East of England Local Government Association (EELGA) — an organisation representing local councils across the region — where she shaped strategies for workforce development and apprenticeships. She has also been a board member for Young Enterprise and Young Money, helping to prepare young people for future success.
